i noticed alot of people who start taking methadone gain wieght, and not cause there not running the streets no more and the few times ive taken for a month to 4 months at a time throughout my life ive gained wieght it kinda gives me the munchies like if i used pot, and im wondering if it slows your matabalism down could this also be the reason for wieght gain? i like to use opiots to get high but because they are so unaffordable these days im thinking about going to methadone clinic again but dont want to get fat from it i wonder even if i fought the munchies and didnt overeat will i still gain wieght from the slower matabalism thing???

Most opiates do tend to slow the body down, it's actually the rare person that gets an energy charge from them and doesn't gain weight with long-term use.
