This medication can cause your stomach to produce more acid than usual, which may result in GERD, gastritis or ulcers, as reported by the U.S. FDA, thus you may want to speak to your doctor about the possibility of taking an antacid with it, to help prevent such issues from occurring.

Other typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, increased risk of bleeding and headache.
