Dog Dosage Of Dilaudid

I have a York is with cancer and can't afford to go to the vet. She weighs about 8 pounds and I have some 4 mg tabs of dilaudid can I give her 1 mg for her pain, she is contently licking that area. Please let me know something asap thanks and God bless.

Carefully titrated for individual use.You
should never administer a controlled
dangerous substance for someone
Other then the person or dog unless
Directed by a Doctor or Vet.Please contact a local animal hospital for advice on how to proceed.

Im sorry about your dog. I too have a dog in bad shape. I also thought about giving him the meds I have here. I know all about controlled substances or I wouldnt have any. Him AND my husband were on the same pain meds. Ive already spent $500 and he is not doing well. His meds are now gone and I hate to see him in pain. ??
