Sorry to hear about your dog getting ahold of birth control. I'd imagine that must've been an awkward experience wondering how the dog might react in that moment lol. Although I see you posted this back in May, earlier this year. Do you have any feedback on the status of your dog now?

To summarize my own investigation/research on the topic, the levels of toxicity for estrogen are not often reached via the ingestion of contraceptive pills, and is reported to be at dosages greater than 1 mg/kg of body weight. And please correct me if I'm wrong, but this means that a 25lb dog would need to consume quite a few of these pills for a toxic effect. So if I understand that correctly, your 65lb dog should be fine when it's all said and done.

It's a much higher dose, estradiol isn't birth control. It's 5mg in this case instead of 0.04mg found in contraceptives. Some transgender people take estradiol, and after hysterectomy, but at a lower dosage.
