Does Triphasil And Trigestrel Work The Same (Top voted first)
UpdatedHi, i've been using triphasil for 3 months. I took them every morning at half past ten. I'll notice many side effects. I lost weight everyday. When I went back the Dr gave me pills I'm not familiar with (trigesterel). I changed from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm. I haven't noticed any side effects but just that I eat a lot ever since I've been on the pill...will I gain more weight or will I remain a size 28? I'm scared to gain weight but don't wanna loose weight as well.

Hello, Emelda! How are you?
They are really the same, just different brand names, so it is doubtful that you will see much change.
The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting and PMS-like symptoms. Most side effects improve after about 3 months, once your body gets use to oral contraceptives.
Is there anything else I can help with?
I've been using trigestrel for more than three months now... I'm currently experiencing hecting pains on my right hand side and coming out alot of brown discharge, could this be a sign of pregnancy? But i did take a pregnancy test, unless maybe i should test again.... Please advise

Hello, I used Nordette for 2 month and when I went to the clinic for refill the nurse give me Trigestel. Checking if they are the same.
Hi there
No no no no triphsal and trigestrel is not the same I do not care what they say about it being the same.
Trigestrel is the worse horror episode of triphsal. Iv been on triphsal for years now and since it's been out of stock from our local clinic I was forced to use Trigestrel ever since I started with trigestrel I had the worse cramps every single day and periods where like pregnancy. It is the worse pill ever and I'm extremely upset about the nurses telling me that it's the same!
Do not ever ever use Trigestrel!
