Does Regestrone Causes Any Side Effects For College Students?

Hai,my name is sahithi I am doing my engineering 3year my age is 20yr. . Since I got mature I am not getting my periods regularly. Doctor suggested me to take regestrone. When ever I take this tablet I will get the period. Do taking regestrone every month is safe? What are the side effects for this? There are any other chances of getting a period without taking regestrone?

I monica devi has pcods so i got my periods in jan 2015 later on again in july 2015 so i consulted a gynaecologist so she asked me to use myonext then within 45days i got my periods then she gave regestrone after using regestrone for 15 days immediately i got my periods with heavy stomach pain doctor says to continue the tablets

Hey I'm madhulika. I'm 19 years old. I have PCOD. My periods are irregular. A gynecologist I consulted suggested me to take regestrone 5 mg 2 times a day for 5 days. I took the tablets as advised and then I got my periods. The month I wouldn't be getting my periods I'm taking the same tablets. By Taking these tablets every month are there any side effects? Is it in anyway harmful? Will I put on weight?
