I am on suboxone sublingual film for the moderate-to-severe pain. I need to switch to a pain medicine that will be strong enough to kill rheumatoid arthritis. I need one that does not have aspirin or acetaminophen in it but cannot seem to figure out which one to ask the doctor for.

I'm sorry your experiencing so much discomfort.Actually its recommended the doctor decide what medication is optimal for your condition since only he or she is familiar with your history and condition.There are many effective medications that do not contain acetaminophen or NSAIDs but you must allow your doctor to recommend these for you.Otherwise they may see this as drug seeking behavior by specifically seeking particular medications by name. I wish you the very best in your attempt to find adequate pain control.
