Does Met Xl Damage Kidney

Does met xl regulate blood pressure or only lower high bp?
If bp drops suddenly will it help in raising bp

No, it will not help to raise it, if it suddenly drops, but it is often used to help protect the kidneys. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, increased urination, and hypotension.
