The FDA classifies Lisinopril as an ACE inhibitor that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Along with headaches, other possible side effects may include nausea, dizziness, increased urination, stomach pain and hypotension.
The side effects should taper off in time, as your body gets used to the medication, but it may take about 4 to 6 weeks. If the headaches get worse, or don't improve after that time period, then please consult your doctor.
