Does Klonipan Stop Your Menstrual Cycle?

I have started a new medication called klonipan and I am 10 days late on my period... Could that cause me not to have my regular menstrual cycle?

Yes, benzodiazepines, such as Klonopin can disrupt your menstrual cycle, it isn't common, but it is possible. Some women experience a longer cycle than normal.

However, if there is a chance that you may be pregnant, then you should go ahead and check that out, unless you're using contraceptives.

This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
