THC -- stays in the fatty tissue for a long time. if you have been taking cannabis for a extended period you can expect it to slowly bleed out till its undetectable .
Also, if you chip it will extend that period even longer. you need to stay clear of it completely till it doesn't remain in your body anymore. So im told ;)

In my experience, Roxi is right about THC and how it can remain in the fatty tissue for a long time. As to exactly how long, I'm not quite sure. However, typically, the only type of analysis that would discover it that far after consumption is a hair follicle diagnostic, which they say goes up to 90 days back. But when it comes to other types of evaluations being positive after 50 days even, that seems to me like a unique case of THC storing in fatty tissue longer than what is considered a usual or average time frame, depending on how much or how often you partook in THC. My thoughts are if you were to sweat a lot through exercise and stay hydrated daily, that may decrease the amount of time it's stored in your tissues. A good rule of thumb in my opinion would be to wait it out for 90 days just to be certain that your body is in the clear.
