Gelmicin can be used, but only if your doctor has instructed you to use it. Treatment is usually only undertaken for cosmetic reasons and most doctors typically prescription retinoids, such as Tretinoin or steroid creams.
What others have you tried?
The side effects to these types of creams, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include skin redness, flaking and irritation.
