No, it is not a centrally acting analgesic like Tramadol, that's why it usually only used to treat migraines and tension headaches.
Has your doctor made any suggestions?
What is causing your pain and what else have you tried?
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
