Does Anyone Know Where I Can Fill My Norco Script (Top voted first)

I live in the Detroit area. Been filling norco for over 12 years now and never had a problem. Now I cant find a pharmacy to fill them. I read above that there is a shortage at the end each year. Is that a bunch of BS, I never had that problem before. If anyone can tell me where to fill them it would be greatly appreciated. Can I fill them online? If so, where? Thanks.

Hello, Dee! How are you? I'm sorry that you're having a problem finding your medication.

No, the information about the yearly shortage is true. If you didn't have a problem any other year, then you were really just lucky. The problem has been compounded this year, due to labeling changes. All combination medications containing Hydrocodone were changed to schedule 2 drugs on October 6 of this year, so that necessitated manufacturers make labeling and information changes. This delayed a new supply getting delivered, which has worsened the shortage issues.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

The best thing to do would be to ask your pharmacist what they have in stock and see if your doctor will prescribe that, as an alternative, in the meantime.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?
