Hello, Cherokeemama! How are you?

It seems there is a mix, some people work, some people don't. It really depends on the severity of the individual's condition, how degenerative it is, what medications they are taking and etc.

Some people prefer to work, as long as they can, if they can and others are unable to get approved for SSDI.

With that mix of medications you're on, your condition and the side effects from them are likely both causing severe problems that make it difficult for you to do anything, but some people handle pain and medications very well.

Some of the ones you're on, such as the Fentanyl and Lorazepam can be habit forming and cause severe dizziness, drowsiness and sedation, while the Simvastatin can cause muscle and joint pains that may make you more miserable.

Does anyone else want to chime in here?
