Amox clav was prescribed for the treatment of my sinus and clogged nose. After the second day I got better but it brought out a pimple like boil on my forehead, and it hurts when touched. Is this normal? Can this medication be used for the treatment of sti's? Also, can I drink moderate alcohol while using this medicine?

No, it is most likely just a pimple, they happen sometimes.
As to using it to treat STI's, that depends on which STI is being treated, some require different antibiotics and some cannot be cured.
Drinking alcohol, while taking it, may worsen the side effects, according to the FDA, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness than usual, thus it would be best to avoid it.
