Does All Ciprofloxacin Have Hcl It

I have 2 prescriptions, cipro 500mg was rx’d for UTI, went somewhere else this time and the rx says cipro 250 HCL also for UTI. Is HCL in all cipro?

Yes, the full name of it is actually Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride, they just don't always include that abbreviation on the prescription label. It just designated the specific chemical salt the medication is derived from.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
