I am having a hard time finding a dr in staten island NY. Even after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 3years ago& being prescribed oxycontin for almost 2 years my dr has moved his practice& no other doctors are willing to help me the same way my last doc was now with him not around& me off the meds I was on for so long my pain from MS has progressed I do have all mri's& documents that state I do have MS. Can I be helped??

Hi there, I am also ooking for someone on Long Island NY. I've tried at least 8 doctors already and none of them wil even see me because I'm already on Percocet and Morphine for the break through and long acting pain respectively. All of them want to do injections which I cannot have because I'm on a blood thinner already and am allergic to most seroids. I have two blockages in my left leg and surgery is not an option because if it messes up, I'll lose my leg almost immediately. I also have scoliosis and overall arthritis in my spine. I am visually impaired so rides are somewhat of a problem but if the doctor is on long island or maybe queens, I could get there. Can anyone help?

Hi Beth. I have someone on Long Island. He requires MRI and prescriptions for the last 3 months which your Dr wrote out. He is very strict but if you have all the paperwork then your good to go. Below is his info.

I was told dr weingarten charges a lot first visit. I'm on 180 15mgs and am 25 years old. Have been in two MVAs. Multiple lumbar herniated discs . Will be wasting my $ if I go ? I've made an appointment but am having doubts. Have had a great doctor he is retiring I need someone new. Hope I hear back from you
