Doctors Who Will Prescribe Pain Medication In Dutchess County For Severe Ddd

I have been using vicodin for 2 years prescribed by the same Doctor. It is the only thing that keeps me mobile and active with a better quality of life. Everyone in my family and everyone who I work with know I've been using this and comment on how much better I'm walking (I have a bad limp in my right leg). I have not abused the prescription, I signed a Pain Management Contract, get it from only one pharmacy and have followed all of the rules. I have never gone over the allowed dose of 1 to 2 tabs a day as needed - 7.5-300. In April a UA was done and it came back negative which is absolutely impossible but because of this I have been dismissed from the pain management contract I've tried reaching out to a few pain management doctors to no avail. I feel like a criminal for asking for relief - it can get pretty bad at times and if it weren't for the Vicodin I would have missed a lot of days at work. I'm there everyday - I have enough until June 3rd but what do I do then? I also want to add that my doctor actually asked me if I was selling it. I have filed a complaint with my insurance company but they can not tell me what the investigation revealed. Her privacy is protected but mine is not and she has destroyed my credibility - how in the world is this fair? Any help you can give me in finding a Doctor in Dutchess County would be much appreciated.

Please dont be too hard on the doctor.seriously people selling these kinds of drugs has reached epidemic proportions and the dea has cracked down on doctors who prescribe these meds.also these nosy a?? People who have "our best interest in mind" preach and harp on the evils of long term pain mgmt and we are no better than or no different from a common crackhead on tbe streets.two tablets of hydrocodone 7.5/325 isnt a very big dose of pain medecine.really.two things i wont do is lie to you or judge anybody. That small.a dose shouldnt even warrant a pain management doc.a contract?sure.for the docs peace of mind.and the do gooders too.they must have their pound of flesh.have you tried a general practitioner?again...that dose is low.fifteen yrs ago that would have been a dose for a good toothache.its a case of your pain mgmt doc has a problem.not you.i myself have been accused of selling my meds, and i fired that doctor.she had let me go 7 weeks on a 30 day prescription.then said that crap to me.its awful to have to deal with accusations like that in order to function on a little bit higher level with less pain.downright degrading.dont let those words get you down or discourage you.theres a local doc who will take care of you being as you have medical needs and its proven.btw....there are false readings on those drug panels for opiates.my doc here does have the drug results and reads them here, but also sends urine to las vegas for s detailed analysis.please hang in there.you are tough enough.find yourself a good doctor locally who is compassionate.much love to you.it will be better..
