Ive been taking methadone for 5 years finding it off the street because the clinics are very inconvienent. X addict been clean 5 years due to the methadone. also i have a serious ankle injury that causes severe pain

That said, most aren't going to want to prescribe Methadone, due to it having its own very highly addictive nature. That's why addiction treatment has been focusing on Suboxone, now. It actually enables most people to end up completely drug free, rather than requiring a lifetime maintenance dose.

Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you somewhere?
