Doctors Who Can Prescribe Methadone In Myrtle Beach C

i have a chronic illness for the last 25 yrs, i have been on methadone for 10 yrs, and that the only thing that helps me with all my pains, crest, raynaulds, dry mouth, dry eyes, fibernalasia, hardening of skin, pain in joints, pain in back, just pla\in hurts without my methadone, i need a doctor to wrote it, i dont get it illegally, but would love to find a doc to write it for me i had great insurance..

Hello, Tootie! How are you? I am so sorry about all of your health issues.

Technically, any doctor with their license to practice medicine can prescribe it, but the difficulty is finding one that actually will do so. Due to the new directives set forth by the DEA last year, most general practitioners will no longer prescribed controlled substances, except in certain very rare cases, so you'll most likely have to see a pain management specialist.

Do you have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?
