Doctors That Will Prescribe Pain Medication Texas (Top voted first)

I have a bulging disc and go to Kelsey Seybold as part of my insurance plan. I took ultram or ultracet for 18 years whenever I needed pain medicine cause I couldn't function on Vicodin or the other hydrocodones. I never had a problem with it, I took it as needed and that was that. Now that they made it a narcotic because some people did get addicted to it???? The doctors at Kelsey Seybold won't prescribe it and treat me as if I'm asking for OxyContin or something. I'm very upset at this!

I'm so sorry to hear of your situation. THIS IS THE UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES OF RESCHEDULING certain drugs with abuse potential. YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE UPSET. I'm uncertain of this process for tramadol was a result of our countries opiate epidemic or more of a safety and effectiveness issue. In the past decade we've seen this with drugs like propoxyphene, hydrocodone and now ultram (tramadol). All three effective for the masses but each with its own unique history of issues and backstory. No one in government, private nor public sector can come to an agreement to what it is. Suffice it to say, many patients have been forced to suffer the consequences for the actions of more than a few. I'm sorry your one of those unfortunate ones to suffer. Has your doctor recommend the use of another analgesic?
