Doctors In Nj That Prescribe Oxycodone (Top voted first)
UpdatedHelp, Seeking new Doc in NJ (Middlesex/Monmouth County areas) I have been going to a pain mgmt. doctor who was giving me oxycontin ER 40mg twice a day and 10mg Percocet 4 times a day for breakthrough pain. They have cut my meds in half in the last 2 months, I have always taken meds correctly and never had a dirty UA. My levels were always good. I have bulging and herniated discs and am in a lot of pain. They are cutting everyone down on meds because of over medicating some patient etc.. (and now everyone pays). I want to find new pain doctor who will give me what I was originally taking does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks for the help. please get back to me with suggestions. Thanks Again. want to find new doc before my next appointment
Dr. Suzanne Zimmerman in Eatontown NJ
Dr S. Allen Weinstein in old Bridge NJ. He is taking New patients as of February 1st Mike. His number is 732-679-1111. Ask for Carol.
The feds dont make the descision on how many you can get, that number is from the drug company that makes that particular drug,
now, in reality, the insurence company will only cover so many, mine covers 120 long acting and 120 breakthru? So thats what my dr gives me, 80 and 30, respectively.
If your dr cuts ur amount! Its not the feds, it could be your dr doesnt feel comfortable writing for you, 99 pct of the time thats why.
h is on the rise, so that means pain pts are finaly getting a break after the past two years or all the kids messing everything up.
if they werent sure. Zohydro and tangiric er wojld have not mage the market,
my dr is in clifton, look for pm in clifton there are o ky 3
hey my name is mike and I live in monmouth county nj. My dr just closed up shop and I've been taking pain meds for over 7 years now. My last script he wrote yesterday was for 180 30mg oxycodone, 60 200mg morphine and 90 2mg xanax. I suffer from 4 disc herniations, 2 bulging, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and arthritis of the spine. Please if you can help me out with any doctors it will be much appreciated and compensated for. I am desperate here. I know I just got my scripts but I'm freaking out! Please help!
I am a 66-year-old woman with very bad auto brightness. I take three Oxycontone 15 mg 3x a day for breakthrough and E or oxycodone 30 mg twice a day for extended . My doctor is in Pennsylvania and it's really too far from me I live in Lodi New Jersey and Clifton would be a dream . Can you please let me know the name of the doctor that you go to in Clifton . It would be greatly appreciated .
I know a Dr in southern NJ that will give u whatever u ask him for..I went there as a cash patient and the 1st visit was $225 and every other visit is $150..I got Oxycodone 30mg 4-6 times a day #180, Oxycodone 15mg QID #120, MsContin 100mg BID #60, Xanax 2mg BID #60..I can give u his name, address and phone number but the only thing is that u need a referral from a current patient..that's how I got in..feel free to write me back if you're interested..FYI and BTW I got 2 of my friends and family members in like this and they got basically the same meds.
Hello, AC! How are you? I am sorry about the problem you've encountered.
However, I am not sure that switching doctors will do you much good. These cut downs have been happening all over the U.S., it is not just your doctor's office that is doing it. The federal government has actually put new regulations in place regarding what can be prescribed, how much can be prescribed, the reasons why and for how long it can be prescribed.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Does anyone know a good doctor in that area that might help?
chronic arthritis my dr has moved need a another dr who describes oxycodones
Hey SHELLY, I'm glad to hear stuff is working out... well I guess Tuesday U'll know for sure, and yeah I would love to have lunch with u. I'M GLAD I COULD HELP U OUT. I TRY TO HELP PEOPLE AS LONG AS I KNOW THEY'RE LEGIT... us people with real pain and issues are in this boat cause of people who don't need it and abuse things and greedy doctors.
Dr S.Allen weinstein in old bridge
Dr sheldon Alan Weinstein in old bridge..
FYi asking for help to secure another doctor isnt breaking the law; what it is though, is a patient's right & pain management told me that themself. Westcoast doctors arent afraid to help patients; provided you actually have a legit medical-condition/disability & actually listen to their patient's knowledge of their own body, theyve lived in since birth. Neither of my doctors have ever ignored my call for help; much less cancelled me as a patient right after, cause spouse's employer's incompetence paying his paychecks that messed-up his insurance cause of it; now I feel like I'm in fight-or-flight cause I can't find anyone to help me w/proper care for my 4yr long disability. This is solely an eastcoast issue, as I've never had an issue in 4yrs til' recently moved-back east w/4yrs worth of records/proof in-hand, so idkwtf ppl here been doing, but definitely forcing those w/legit conditions to be punished for their wrongful doings & didnt really need it!
mike ; I;ve had many surgeries and all bad; I;ve been on meds for over 23yrs ; pain management has been given guidelines by the cdc and fda; they are phasing out opioids all together or your max will be no more then 51 mgs daily of any combination you take. Urine test every visit. These guidelines were more like the hand of god condemming any pain management doctor to write more ;and if they do they will have there licences to practice terminated. They allow only 3 conditions to be treated for long term opioids. These conditions for treatment are part of the governments involvement with the opioid problem in this country;so this is the answer; I doubt since this has just been in acted by the government and insurance companies that pain meds will be prescribed in the doses we have all been accustomed to using to manage our daily life. Unfair ;yes ;do they care ;no !!
This doctor will not treat anyone if they live out of the state of New Jersey. My husband couldn't even get his foot in the door because of his address. This whole chronic pain issue sucks and doctors are running scared. They are supposed to be helping the patient not allowing the DEA tell them what to do. I personally think that's bulls***. These doctors work on your emotions like you don't want to see me go to jail or loose my license. If they're legit they should have nothing to worry about. We can thank all the greedy money hungry doctor's out there and the patients that are full of s*** and have nothing wrong with them. That's how all this s*** started. Medicare and Medicaid are fraud cash cow businesses, just write scripts, take your money and give no referrals for testing or anything.
My heart so breaks for you guys forced to hell and back by no fault of your own.My daughter in law who has dealt with a chronic pain disorder since childhood. As is almost inevitable she became dependent on these strong analgesic's.After losing her legit prescriber she was unable to obtain a level of relief that could prevent her from being sick ( abstinence syndrome ).With no other option she resorted to methadone but at a treatment facility. She has successfully dosed at a moderate level and after some time she has received her methadone once a month with her take home privleges
.It doesn't relieve all her pain but it's manageable and is able to live a fairly productive life as a good mom, professional business person and friend. At first it caused some shame for the family until we were able to witness the marked difference in her functionality and ability to perform her duties with no visable impairment at all,Unlike her condition while using powerful opiates prescribed by pain management years earlier.I understand it's a controversial modality but with all due respect I wonder if any others ever considered this as an option for your chronic intractable pain syndrome? I wish all the very best...
Hi carmine! I know you said you had an appt. On the 10th. Just checking in to see how it went? I'm agonizing here! Got dropped to 15's my last visit and was told going to 10's on my next visit. I heard of some letter that went out to all the dr's about ppl on benzo's and opiates so I was under the impression that all of this lowering of our meds was mandatory? So I asked my psychiatrist whom I get my 2mg Xanax from (she is very nice & caring) she told me she received one as well it's called a black box letter she said and it came from the surgeon general. It states that if the Dr. Pain management or other prescribing benzo's. Feels a patient is at risk for overdose to taper them to the least available dose. Which is exactly what my PM Dr. Is doing to me. My psychiatrist said it is most definitely because of my high benzo intake. She said they still have free reign to prescribe what they want but are being closely monitored and PM Drs. Guidelines state oxycodone & oxyconfin should only be for terminally ill, cancer patients and palliative care which is someone with a permanent lifelong illness. Well my back & arthritis have not been cured nor fixed with these bulls*** inj's.! I'm sorry but I refuse to go thru that agony that don't even work for 10's this whole intervention is unjust! They are literally driving good ppl to the streets! Wait and see how the supposed already opiate epidemic spikes to an all time high because of what they are doing! I lowered my Xanax to 1mg voluntarily since I was cracking the stix in half anyways in hopes I will stop being seen as a risk instead of a person who is in 24/7 agony and needs to live life out of my bed! Just thought I would let everyone know the facts got it straight from 2 Drs. I live in central NJ anyone know where I can go? Lmk how you made out carmine. Did you make it thru the snowstorm?
Shelly,
Hi and yes that is the standard memo and correspondence delivered to my south jersey MD as well.I suffer from an autoimmune disease sickle cell anemia which causes flare ups best described as unbearable. My condition provides an exemption as I'm informed so I continue to recieve the 2 powerful opiates/opiods that I've been prescribed for the past 7 years.Sadly over 90% of cpp are effected by these new restrictive laws. I wish there was something I could say to help bc 2 family members were also effected by this but my doc has given them a very generous allowance and more time to acclimate then most others that I've heard about. You are correct I believe this will only cause more street crime and illicit street dealing to medicate these poor cpp's. All my best to you,
Steven
Severereproductivepaingirl,
41 doctors and none will see you? That's beyond insane!!!!! I wish I had something to suggest but even those who had pain relief doctors are all being ceremonially reduced and or withdrawn except for a small % of terminal and or limited intractable pain sufferers. Its very unfair to those who suffer relentless agonizing conditions
