Hi Jess,
It may be a good idea to double check with your prescribing doctor first, but from my understanding - when a medication says "for external use only", I get the sense that they use that as a warning to not 'orally' ingest it. However, my personal opinion is that it should be ok to apply on the outer areas of the cervix and not directly inside, unless specifically instructed otherwise by your doctor. I think that would probably be the best way to play it safe until further notice if I were in such a position.
Does anyone else have thoughts on this?
