Actually, this medication very commonly causes dizziness as a side effect, according to the FDA, so it's doubtful that it will help with that. It's usually used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia.

Other typical side effects may possibly include nausea, headache, tremor, insomnia and weight changes.
