Dilaudid St Pete

I drove around for four hrs yesterday and still could not fill my prescription. It is becoming inhumane and the DEA should be to blame. I thought after the database was put into play, here in St Pete FL, things would be as they should. I can not walk and need my prescription filled, every month...ON TIME.

Hi jaa,

Sorry to hear about your situation. If you're truly unable to fill your prescription, I feel as if the doctor should get on the phone and try to vouch for you being a legitimate patient. I think that's what it's really coming down to with a lot of chronic pain patients requiring heavily controlled substances.

I mean when a doctors visit is all said and done, situations concerning the legitimacy of their hand writing/script should still be their responsibility, right? And it should be properly handled between both the doctor as well as the pharmacist, until they understand what the problem is so it doesn't continue to happen. That's how I'd put it to the doctor anyways, in the nicest way possible.

Maybe it's not necessarily the medication, but sometimes the quantity is more than they are comfortable filling at any given moment? With the DEA breathing down their necks, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

Have you been turned down more than once trying to fill this type of prescription?
