Jeff you get the problem figured out? I'm having a hard time finding a pharmacy with them as well. Would be great if I could find some help.

I don't understand why there would be a shortage of MS Contin, and another medication you mentioned, but I'm sorry, I forget. Regarding the MS Contin, I used to take six 30mg tabs of time released Morphine Sulphate, and it was way too much for my little body to take. I finally got down to two 15mg tabs of ms contin, but why doesn't Florida have access to it? Do they think it's a "bad drug?" I live in Rhode Island and have no problem getting my opioids when I need to them filled.

From all the stories I've been hearing - and that's all they are is rumors at this point - there allegedly aren't any real drug shortages, but rather, restrictions being put on supplies and what pharmacies are able to order from drug manufacturers under the close watch of the DEA. I speculate that what little amount they do order probably flies off the shelves in a matter of days. And I guess one of the proposed outlined purposes behind 'quantity control' is to discourage or decrease incentives for robbers from being able to steal too much inventory. It makes sense to a degree, but I'm sure there are also some other underlying reasons that the public isn't made aware of - Who knows what they could be? Nevertheless, it seems that citizens within every State in the US are experiencing high demand of pain meds and low supply; some States (such as Florida) potentially being worse off than others in this regard. We can only hope that everyone affected by this will be able to fill their prescriptions sooner than later...
