Dilaudid 4mg Or Hydromorphone 4mg Or Er Exalgo, Please Help Locate Pharmacy In Tampa Fl, (Top voted first)
UpdatedLaws are crazy in FL. I just moved to Tampa from Pinellas County. Because my doc is in Pinellas county, I can't get the medication filled in Tampa. Because I moved to Tampa, I can't get the medication filled in Pinellas county. This is nuts! Also, I can't find a pharmacy that can order it in, even if I go to my old (where they know me) CVS in Largo, FL because there is some kind of shortage. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have been taking this medication for years due to Fibro-myalgia. It works and it doesn't pollute my liver with Tylenol, aspirin, or NSAIDS. Please help me find a pharmacy that carries, the generic, the name brand or the extended release Exalgo 12 mg.

Ok..first, I have an EXTENSIVE background with pain medications. I have been on them for a broken back and other problems for about 22 years now. Just so you know that I do know what I am talking about, I have taken the following.. in combination or singularly ...hydrocodone in all strengths, hereinafter referred to as ias...oxycodone ias...oxymorphone ias...morphine ias..fentanyl ias...hydromorphone ias...just about all meds listed in drug books as schedule 2,3&4 and have been on numerous other classes of scheduled drugs, such as adhd medications and all benzodiazepines. I can tell you that, yes, fentanyl will help, but it must be matched as every 10 mgs of fentanyl to one mg of hydromorphone. Might I suggest you talk to your doctor about just what you wrote, and tell him/her your afraid of the pain you still have. I can add that after being on 400 mgs of morphine a day, with norco (10 hydrocodone and 325 tylenol) 2 tabs every four hours, tramadol er 300 mgs, lyrica 50 mgs x 3 a day, soma 250 x four a day, along with xanax 2 mgs x 4 a day...ALL that every day..I lived in Colorado..easy there...but I even grew tolerant to all that after several years...I switched to exalgo 32 mgs x 2 a day and kept the norco, tramadol, lyrica, soma, and stopped the xanax cold turkey (don't recommend, I had a seizure and had to be weaned off)..but I feel great. Exalgo is a great drug. If your having trouble finding it, try some of the "mom and pop" drug stores. Bigger chains stop getting it in for several reasons..one is they get robbed for it..another reason is that not many people take it and its too pricey to order and let rot on a shelf, but smaller, local pharmacies will sometimes get it in for you next day if you have a script for it. Some even already have it, or will keep it stocked for you if your getting it regularly. If doctors are prescribing exalgo, they uusually do it for long term pain patients..if your getting it for short term..find a new doctor because he/she does not know what they are doing. Exalgo, extended release hydromorphone, is for severe pain and opiate tolerant patients.
We also moved to Florida and had a pain specialist ready for us when we got there. Tried to get rxs filled for 6 months. Flew back to utah once a month to get my husband's painkillers as even our cvs that we've been using for years refused to fill them. We finally came home to utah because of the hassle and evilness of florida laws. My husband can't get out of bed or go to work without his medication. Painkillers have been a lifesaver to him. Florida is a seriously effed up state. People have committed suicide because of their suffering as they no longer get their meds!! Good luck!
