I have sever neck pain and back pain. I have had several surjurys to both. Im on a dilaudid pump plus 8 mg 3X day. Are there other ways to make the pills more effect when the pain becomes unbearable?

I am very sorry that you're in pain.
You may need a dosage adjustment, or an additional medication added.
You may also want to ask about taking Tylenol with it, because it can enhance the effect of some narcotics.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Does anyone else have any suggestions?
