My doc . Prescribed Telma am after the By Pass to control BP but the BP was around 165/85. So he changed to Telma 40. The BP is still 170/ 85.
Now he has again advised me to shift to Telma am.
Which is better of the two. Kindly advises.K.Mehta

You should follow your doctor's instructions regarding which medication to take.

Telma AM contains Telmisartan with Amloidpine, while Telma 40 only contains Telmisartan.

The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

What are your current readings? Has there been any change?
