Difference Between Oxycontin 20mg Hlc And Oxycontin 20mg Tb12

Last month my doctor gave me oxycontin 20 mg hcl. This month my prescription is for oxycontin 20mg TB12. What is the difference?

There is no difference, they are both 20mg Oxycontin, which contains the narcotic Oxycodone in a time released formulation. The TB12 just specifically designates the every 12 hour dosing. :-)

The TB12 isn't commonly used, but I have seen it a few times before.
