Difference Between Oxycodone Rhos And Oxycodone Kvk

Dad stage 4 lung cancer has been rho for long time, just got prescription and it is kvk. Totally different size and color. He has a lot of pain, do they work the same? Are they the same? Is one Better then other. They are both 20 mg, oxycodone.

They are the same, just manufactured by different companies, which is normal with generic medications.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Dr., wants him try an immune drug, or go hospice. My dad doesn't know what to do. He hurts so much that he doesn't want to prolong life, the oxy and ibuprophin and patch doesn't get rid of his shoulder pain. He is scared to try immune drug, I think he should try it, but it is his choice. I pray GOD will just heal him. Or for GOD to show or tell him what to do. He has been dealing with this awhile, and recently baptized and saved. But scared about passing. I don't know what to say. I pray for a miracle. Anyone who believes in Jesus, who reads this, please pray for him. For Gods direction and assurance and healing, please. Thank you for the answer regarding oxy.

Prayers said just remind him he is on right track and god is good all the time even when dont realise. Will say a pray for him. He is not alone

I just read up on the same issues. i get both from 2 different Wal-Marts in the same town. My priscript' is the same (written by the same doctor for the last 5 years). The difference is the companies that make them. There are some very obscure differences. The best source of relief is loving, praying and caring people around your loved one. On the KVK vs RHO: to me, KVK kicks in faster but does not last as long, the RHO seems to hold the pain management to a more even distribution. That may only be true for me. A few months ago I tried a battle belt, I bought at a gun show. It is a three inch belt around the waist (I put it higher) to hold my cord stable. The battle belt has three pads one for lower back and the other two for left and right sides. I found using that a few hours at a time helped in pain relief. It does not work 24 hours. But it does work for a two to four hours. They run about $25. Some times thinking outside the box may help. LOVE and PRAYS

So sorry about your family situation,I'm in remission now but to me God and his son Jesus hears our prayers and if we believe in God's promise he will have us either way,I will be praying for sure,he knows who I'm talking about!! I'm on oxycodone rho and the ones I used to take were oxy 5/325 and there is a difference in size big time,but different manufacturers, old was hcl,just so blessed that my prayers are answered,I talk to him all day long,and will be praying.
