Hi, im turning 3 months pregnant and my doctor give me folic acid folart, then last night me and my husband bought another folic acid tablet, but im just worried because it was different from my previous medicine, because the drug store gave us folic acid MAXIFOL. Is it the same or different? Thank you.

Yes, they are the same, just manufactured by different companies. According to NIH reports, Folic Acid is very important to the health of your baby and you should take it as prescribed, though it sometimes causes nausea, in some women that take it.
