Oxycontin contains a time released formulation of Oxycodone and the other is a time released formulation of Morphine. The Oxycodone is stronger by 1 and a half times.
These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation.
