Well Kate as a physician you should be aware of the drug sibutramine, or the trade name Merida, which the pills contain. Knowing that, combined with your medical knowledge, you should be able to make an intelligent decision regarding the pregnancy issue.

I will like to tell you guys my personal experience with this pills.I gained 100# in my last pregnancy.I am only 5'3 so I was a mess!I tried too many diets,but as soon as I stoped any diet the weight came back.I started to use this pills
a year ago.I stop to take the pills every two months for 1 week only and start again.My weight was 225 and now I weight 134.I'm still taking the pills.The side effects that I have are cold feet and hands,
dry mouth,but I drink alot of water.I go to the Dr.every month and everything is fine.I take them with a cup of Decaf coffee before breakfast.

Has anyone else experienced constipation as a side effect? Not to be TMI but I used to be regular, and now its been like 3 days. Not into laxatives because I'm not trying to have anything runny or gross...just a normal poop :)

Anyone have suggestions for natural laxatives?

Yes,constipation is normal.It happened to me at the begining.I took Senna pills.After that I been so regular going.Take the pill really early in the morning and then you can take the senna pill at night.DO NOT drink the ballerina tea.I did it once and felt that I was dieying.Good luck!

Thanks Prkan_flava! One more...has the pill seemed less strong over time with anyone? I have only been taking them for a week, but I feel like the first 2-3 days were significantly stronger (i.e. much more appetite suppressing) than they have been the last few days. Granted, I still don't feel tempted to snack or anything, but have been eating much more than I did starting off.

Has anyone had this problem, and if so, did you skip a day or two to see if that helped, or what did you do?

Some days I feel more appetite than others,specially when I'm close to my period,but don't stop taking the pill.I take it every day.Because I been on this pills more than a year every 2 months I skip 1 week and it help alot.I lost 91 pounds,well actually 92 because I weighted myself this morning and I lost another pound.10 more to go..And even if you don't see any change on the numbers in the scale don't stop because you can be losing inches.I was a size 18 and now I am a size 8,I want to wear my old size 6 jeans.LOL.I didn't lose weight in 1 week but the clothes were a little bit more loose.Keep going!!Let's support each other..

Prkan_flava, that is awesome!! Congrats on your weight loss! And actually that made me feel so much better because I didn't even take into consideration that the last couple of days I have been on my period! So hopefully this will work out :) Thanks again and keep it up!!

Thanks Flannery! Well i started taking the pill yesterday and it didnt make my heart bat fast, no jitteriness everything was fine. I bought at this store and the lady told me anyone can take it as long as they dont have high blood pressure, hert problems or pregnant.

Hello, I bought these pills off amazon, i started taking them since thursday, i happened to order another box for a friend, but her box has a couple different things than mine. Mine doesn't say fruta planta, my friend's comes with a pink seal with a number and a sticker on the top of the box. Did i get the fake ones. I haven't felt any side effects. Do i have to worry?

There is alot of people selling the fake pills on Amazon.I ordered 2 boxes from one seller because they were cheaper and when I got them,I found out that they were fake.There is no difference between the ones that says Fruta Planta,and the ones that only says Reduce weight.But here are some tips to know if you got the fake ones(.By the way,the ones you order for your friend are original)
The pills box should have a pink sticker,it should have another sticker that saysReconozca por favor esta marca de falsificacion,prueba protectores como la falsificacion(that's the protective mark against falsificacion and it shoul be in spanish).On top of the box it should have a seal and this seal to open the box should be clear with silver.The paper inside the box should have blue letters and it is a shine paper.The package of the pills(foil) have a white stamp.Otherwise you got the fake ones.Hope this can help.

I also found this video.The video is in spanish,but they don't talk on this video they just show you which are fake and the originals.The word falsa in the video means fake and originales means original.The person who posted this video has a link to visit his/her page.When I typed the web address it says that I need to be login to see the page and it was a facebook page,so I decided not to go to that page because it requested my facebook user name and password and that is a BIG NO,NO to me.I just watched the video on youtube. http:/­/­www.youtube.com/­watch?v=ybefYh5ylBM

Thanks for the info, The box that I have, doesnt have the pink sticker nor the plastic sticker on top, it only has the silver stamp in spanish. It does have the white paper, and when I looked at them (foil) it looks just the same. I guess i have to buy another box for my friend! :(

Hey guys I just bought 3 packs of Amazon so I should start on them soon. I heard about them through my friend yessie who’s friend is been taking them for a while and had lost a lot of weight. Brittany you can read the post that I left for Ale.It is in Spanish but with no audio.Just check the video images,it tell you how to spot the fakes and the originals.Falsas is fake and originales means original.You can buy your pills at Amazon,but be carefull,check the pictures,the seller feedback,and look for the seals that I mentioned to Ale on my other post.Hope this can help.

Hello, I have been taking this pill for about 4 months, I have lost 20 pounds, I was so happy; however, today I am a little bit disappointed, I went to the doctor and I am weighting exactly the same as I did 1 month ago. I need to lose at least another 20 pounds, I think I got the fake pills; my husband got them in Amazon at $5.00 a box. What I have noticed since I started taking these new boxes is that I feel a lot of more desire for food that I used to feel before. I do not know what to do; I think the pills are great; however, I would like to know if they stop working after you have been taking them for months. Should I stop?
