if you received the little package with a 30 day supply with the 10mg for 7 days, then the 20mg for 7, then the 40mg as your introduction to the medication? if you can just reply around the date or so. Im currently on the medication and finished my 30 day supply and on my first filled script. been on it for about 5 weeks and have to say feel 100% times better then day one. Not 100% better in general but 100% better then day one. so i am hopeful and I hope its the medication doing work and with stay stable. Back to the point. I have never been or seen free sample pills given from the doctor. i have gotten vouchers to hand the pharmacist. Is that normal on the regular with many antidepressants and stuff in that category of drugs? iv seen like heartburn and antacid samples but never physiological drugs given out like this. Not starting a conspiracy thing and VIIbryd has made me feel better 5 weeks in. my concern is drugs in booklets like this given to your doctor, i feel Doctors might dish them out just for the fact to get rid of them or if that whole kickback free dinner or something. i am not against free samples but it should be free at the pharmacy. the funny thing is i was very outspoken against antidepressants because of failed progress with all the top name ones on the market. then my doctor pulls out this fancy box and right away i think expensive and i never heard of it so its defff new in terms of medication. i haven't seen any advertisement for it, and i tend keep up a see what options are out there. reading everyones post it seems like 90plus percent have mention the free sample pack. so this is not against viibryd in anyway, but the free sample thing bothers me a tad, and if it wasn't working i would be bother a lot probably bashing the s*** out the sample not the medication because meds react to different people different ways thats a given, but i felt my doctor gave me viibryd not based on merit but because what the heck free sample.

Hello, Nick! How are you?

Actually, many have been done this way, it makes it easier to start a patient on such a medication, when they have to titrate up, as opposed to having them get a prescription for a weeks worth of one dosage, then another weeks worth of the next and so on. It's been awhile, so I can't remember which one it was, but I did start one like that myself years ago and I know this type of thing is frequently done.

It also lets patients see how a medication will work for them, before they spend money on it, since some are expensive or may have high copays.

Typical side effects to Viibryd may include nausea, dizziness, insomnia, dry mouth and weight changes.

Is there anything else I can help with?
