Hello, Christina! Sorry to hear about your sister-in-law's problem. How is she doing?
Both of these medications are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, so by taking them both together, she essentially doubled up on the same medication….and as to the stroke symptoms, they can both cause blood thinning and a stroke is usually caused by a blood vessel bursting in the brain.
