Diaserin Nilitis And Vitamin E

My mom has osteoarthritis and nowdays when she walks a nerve gets caught near her groin causing a sharp pain due to which she can't walk until the pain subsides.a doctor said its a mild osteoarthritis and prescribed her diaserin and nilitis.are these two drugs combined together very harmful in the longrun? Can she take either one (diaserin or nilitis)along with glucoseamine and ayurvedic supplements and vitamin e? If yes then what should the dosage of each of these be?
