Diane 35 For Hormonal Imbalance

Hi, im 37 yrs old. Using diane 35 for first time. Have been using safe days before. Using diane 35 mainly to help with hormonal imbalace. Took it on day one of my period and had brown spotting on day 21. Im into the 3rd day of the 7 day break and still very very light spotting with mild period like symptoms. Is this normal? Cld this be my menstruation? Please advise. Thankyou.

Yes, that can be normal, when you are new to taking hormonal contraceptives, as reported by the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and PMS-like symptoms.

It usually takes about 3 months, or so, for your body to get used to the hormones in them and for things to balance out, however, if it doesn't improve after that time period, you should consult your doctor as this may not be the right one for you.
