Detoxing Off Methadone And The Withdrawal (Page 2)

I am trying to do a rapid detox but I am decreasing 5mg every 3 days, I am at 20mg now, I was at 40, when I started 8 years ago I was at 180mg! I am starting to really feel the effects and I wanted to know if anyone had any advice on anything that could help me get through this because this is my second attempt, I failed the first time, I never got past 25mg, well I hit 20mg for 1 day. PLEASE let me know of anything that may help....thank you very much....

Hi. I am just writing to see if anyone can give me some advice on coming off of methadone during a pregnancy? I am pregnant and want to know if I can come down at a rate of 5 milligrams per week when pregnant?

Use Gabapentin to get off benzos. Go thru the methadone clinic to detox off methadone... I've done both and it works...
