Description Of This Medication (Top voted first)

I have two abcessed teeth, molars one on each side, my neighbor gave me a bottle of antibiotics she said was erythmycin...its a large table with lower case 'e' on side and ED on the other. the table is oval and very large. I financial issues preventing me from seeking the aid of a dentist...however, this infection is getting worse and very painful....can't eat, funny taste in my mouth, swelling on both sides of lower jaw....I don't want to take something that would make this bug grow...help?

Carrie; Hello; I am going through the same thing..Can you get on Medicaid?Now on the pills you mentioned; I had the same and Mine was round and on one side just said Euro Tabs. I have to have all teeth removed.There should be some kind of assistance for you somewhere I hope.Look in your phone book.I did.My jaw is swelled and the pain is the most nagging and aggravating pain that you do not to want even to talk.I do know.A better antibiotic for your mouth and get that jaw down..is called..Clindamycin 300mg taken every 8 hours.It worked for me.For the pain they gave Tylenol3. Usually the Euro Tabs and the Clin..I mentioned are 2 best for oral mouth and teeth discomfort or infections.Rinse with warm salt water even in between.Also;I was using cold packs to help numb my jaw..BAD; The Dr said no..It brings blood to the mouth.You want hot rag or bottle on your moth.It will help better.Good Luck :)

Thank you so much for the info. i have been putting off taking these until i could find out more about them. antibiotics can cause as much harm as they can good. my teeth still hurt and at this point I have not been successful in getting immediate aid. i will just work my way thru it. thanks again for replying.
