I have lupus and neorpathy and non alcoholic cirrosis. I have been on high doses of oxycontin and oxcodine 8 years. I was supposed to pick up meds 25th. Because i had surgery on 10th and my stepdaughter took discharge stuff she got my meds from surgery. Doctor is saying i broke my pain contract. I never saw the meds but meanwhile i cant get into doctor for couple weeks and im massive pain and what i believe is withdrawl i never had it. Went to 2ERs they said sorry cant help. I live in north versailles pa what can i do my heads explodining my bones wont work at all

Hello, Denise! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you've run into.

Yes, that is how most pain treatment contracts work and if that's what the doctor has noted in your records, it may be difficult to find another one that will treat you and prescribe anything.

And no, the ERs aren't able to help with such an issue, unless you would actually be in dangerous withdrawal, when you go in.

How are you feeling? What type of symptoms are you having?
