Decayed Tooth Severe Headache

Hello. I have a decayed wisdom tooth for which I'm being treated with Amox 500mg 3 times per day... This is the second round of ten days worth antibiotics, and it seems as though there is very little change in symptoms.. My shoulder, eyeballs, neck and head hurt so badly, especially when darkness occurs, that ALL I can do is sleep it away... The Amox gives an enhanced pain deep inside my Sinuses and on the top right side of my head... It feels sas though my right eyeball and the top of my head are going to EXPLODE!!!... I can't get it removed until the 23rd of May, and am at my Wit's End!... The infection in the right side of my neck is still causing the Lymph Nodes to swell, and turning my head is painful... I don't want to continue the Amox, because the pain it causes is outrageous!... What do I need to do, please?.. As of now, my nasal passage, right side of face, neck, right eyeball, and top of head feel as though something is crushing them... Also, there's a zipping pain in my right shoulder at the joint... Thank you for your time...

It is most likely not the antibiotic that causing the severe pain, that is more likely caused from the infection.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.

Have you had the tooth extracted, yet? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
