Dava Alprazolam

All the professionals say there are no difference between generics. I just switched from Dava 1 milligram alprazolam to the same made by Activis. The Dava was putting me to sleep for 2 hours at the most. The Actavis just knocked me out for 9 hours and I still feel tired. Would someone explain that?

Ironically I am taking 2 mg DAVA Bars from 2014 as we speak and have no complaints. May your FDA complaint be taken seriously

Dava alprazolam is ineffective. It is poor quality. I've filed a complaint with the FDA. Yo probably are experiencing the correct effects of alprazolam and can actually cut your doses down.

I was just refilled with Dava generic Xanax after using greenstone generic for years and the Dava generics were the worst ever (for me) and yes absolutely very little to no sleep at all not to mention I had gotten chronic diarrhea, itching, nausea, stomach cramping, dehydrated, dizziness, leg cramps etc...I have not tried any other generic Xanax's. So I can not comment on the others out on the market. They say there is very little difference in the generics but to my experience it may be that one binder/filler that makes a whole lot of difference in how you feel.

There is actually an allowable difference that's considered to be therapeutically insignificant. They can vary from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient and they aren't measured against each other.

So, that means that in theory, the one you were taking may have been a little low in the active ingredient and this new one could be a little bit high in it. Most people aren't sensitive to such small fluctuations, but some people are, especially if you were taking it for a long time.

The only way to really avoid it would be by getting your doctor to prescribe it as the brand name being medically necessary.
