Daily Doses Of Antibiotics To Prevent Uti
UpdatedI have frequent uti's. Is it a good idea to take a small dose of an antibiotic daily to ward off infection?

Hello, Charlotte! How are you?
Some people do need to do that, when they get them regularly. Only your doctor can decide if it's right for you to do so, but it's worth asking them about it.
The FDA lists the typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
Is there anything else I can help with?
