Cyproheptad 2mg 5ml

Is this medication safe for @9 yr old? was prescribe to my daugther to prevent migraines,after reading all the information av im not shure any more..today she was seen for stomage pain and blotting and they prescribe the same thing,,now im more confused and not happy

I have to agree with you, that seems slightly odd. What type of doctor have you been taking her to?

My 10 year old was prescribed this because he has celiac disease and they say he is not gaining weight at all but he EATS ALL THE TIME *but he is very active and remember he is a boy and ten that's all he does is eat and play.I was told that the celiac disease fell under the American Disability Act is that true and is the cyproheptad 2mg /5ml safe for him he also takes Ritalin
