Cymgen Side Effects Not Worth It

I was on cymgen 120 mg for 6 months. Treatment for fibromaylgia. It made me mentally unstable. I had night mares twitching grinding teeth and felt no emotion. I was so desperate to be switched off. I considered suicide. I was admitted to hospital where they just added to my meds. This led to jerking and shaking. I decided to cut the meds down myself. And started to feel better. I went down to 60 mg of cymgen but the jerking and confusion didn't stop. This week I decided to stop it. Its been awful. But today for the first time im not twitching. And the jerking and fast heart rate has stopped. I still don't feel happiness
But I'm on my way there. Cymgen was supposed to help with my physical pain but instead it drove me to madness. I was on cipralex for 8 years and I never felt this helpless until I was put on cymgen. I had two beautiful perfectly healthy children on cipralex. Cymgen was a big mistake for me. And I'm posting this in case someone feels the same and think they are going crazy.

I can relate to you , i was given this drug by a doctor who couldn`t find my real problem . it was the worst month of my life . i was also experiencing the same common symptoms but the jerking was the worst . One morning i just decided to stop taking it .. its not that easy ! its a real DRUG . u must first flush it down the toilet ,because your mind just wonders if i must not go on for just one day ... m,by the side effects will stop and tomorrow i will feel better . Well tomorrow never came . I have been off them for nearly a week . the last two nights i was woken up by my alarm clock , not jerking at 1 in the morning . I still have some side effects like tired and a strange sensation in my mouth , but im sleeping better and no nausea . PLEASE people get professional people to precribe dangerous medication like this .
Wow! I am so very sorry about what happened to you, that's awful!
And unfortunately, that's often what's done, doctor's prescribe more drugs to treat the side effects from other drugs and you end up in a never ending cycle. It's rather sad.
As to how you're feeling now, that will eventually wear off, too. It's just going to take awhile.
Why did you go off of the Cipralex?
