Cymbalta Withdrawal Side Effects

Any one else go off of cymbalta and experience muscle/leg cramps? I'm on day 7 of going off and since day 5 I've had horrible legs muscle pain. I didn't quite realize it was going off the cymbalta till yesterday. Started taking 40 mg of Prozac I'm fine depression wise. I'm a bit cranky, but I can't stand the leg pain. Anyone else out there experience the same? Thank you, hope to hear from someone.

Hello, Susan! How are you doing? Has it eased up, at all?

Yes, that can happen if you abruptly stop taking these types of medications. Usually, the best thing to do is to have you slowly taper off of one, while going up on the other.

Were you told to just stop taking it?
