Cymbalta And Other Meds
(Newest replies first)
Updated
I'm taking paxil, lamictal, adderall, ms contin and my doc wants me to try cymbalta since I've been wanting off of paxil for a long time. I have lupus, fibromyalgia, adhd, and severe clinical depression. Does anyone know the meds that do not interact well with cymbalta and/or has anyone swapped from paxil to cymbalta?

Hi,
Have you been tested for lyme disease? I know that this sounds far out but a tick bite that you don't even remember can cause all these health problems.
And about your Ex - you need to make a police report. This time his drugging you was malicious. Next time he could make you OD or poison you. He is dangerous.
Yes, you are not the first person this has happened to, and sadly, I am betting you will not be the last.
Have you explained to your boss how disgruntled this guy is over your divorce, and the things he has done to you in the past. It may make him willing to retest you later, since they can tell by the level in your urine if you are a regular user or not, and it might make him reticent to jump on the bandwagon of such phone calls in the future.
The way you describe feeling are classic signs of meth usage. You can also get those symptoms from other speed type drugs. Makes me wonder why anyone likes using them so much, makes no sense to me.
If I were you, I would never, ever, again drink anything that many was able to touch and perhaps drop something in, don't eat anything either that he offers, no matter what it is.
It might also be smart, since he is pulling such wonderful antics, to go to the police and at least get a complaint on record as to what you think he did to you. Even without proof, at least then the complaint will be out there and in their files, so even if they can't act on it, the info will be there if, in the future, things escalate or he tries similar things. It will also make the police think seriously about things, just in case he starts making anonymous phone calls to them, too.
I mean, if you are still living in the house that you two shared, or you are living somewhere that he has been in, or had access too, who knows what he might have hidden somewhere for future ammunition against you.
Do not ever think anything is beyond the planning and vengeful manipulation of a drug user.
I am here to talk, or look up information anytime you need me, I have been really busy, so not here on this site a lot recently, but please feel free to email me at anytime, you can reach me at [email protected]
Please make sure to mention who you are, as I do admin/mod duties for several sites, and when I get an email from someone that just says HEY, I sometimes can't keep track of what they are talking about! LOL!
thank you for your response. First, I did give a list of the meds I'm taking before the test. I know this will sound like something you only see in movies, but I just went through a horrible divorce and my husband has drugged me in the past at least twice. I met with him in person about 3 or 4 days before this test. Apparently my boss got an anonymous call and all of a sudden I had to submit to a drug test. I do not and have not used meth but my husband does on a regular basis, hence, one of the main reasons for the divorce. Any way, I think that he put some in my drink that night and then made an anonymous call to my boss. Has this ever happened to anyone you know of? I know about the date rape drug but this would have been meth. I did feel really bad and hyper after I left his house that night. In fact, I couldn't sleep and my heart was racing a hundred miles per hour. I was nauseated part of the time. I just wanted to know if that has ever happened to anyone and, if that was not the explanation for the positive test, what else could cause that? I don't have any proof that he did it except for past incidences when he put sleeping medication in my tea. thank you so much for your reply and help with this.
Well that is quite a list of meds that you are taking, I would honestly suggest you speak with your pharmacist, since they have them all logged in the computer, they can check those reactions for you. This is one of the reasons you should never pharmacy hop.
I could check reactions with an online database, but those are never updated right to the minute with the most current information, so I would really hate to chance it.
