Cutting Meloxican Tablets

I was just prescribed 15mg tablets for intermitten inflamation in my ankle. I am not very confortable with taking a 15mg tablet every day or even on an "as needed" basis. I wonder if I can split (cut) these tablets in half and still take it on an "as needed" basis?

Yes, you can do that, unless your doctor or pharmacist has given you some reason not to.

Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
